admin In an interview to the Latvian edition of the newspaper «The Review» the Champion of Lithuania Victoria Chmilite informed about her new goals:
— I would be arrogant if I would say that I want to win the FIDE Grand Prix, but I'd like to try. It is even difficult to become a participant of this tournament. This is a very high level tournament. Thanks to the victory at the European Championships, my current rating is 2528 points (and 9th place in the rating list), which gave me the opportunity to become a participant (sixth highest rated player of the tournament). Now my goal is to play well in this series of Grand Prix.
