The central Election Commission has published the results of the «election» to State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. Anatoly Karpov became one of the deputies as a representative of Tyumen Oblast. 

The governmental party «United Russia» is increasingly being referred to as «Party of Swindlers and Thieves». Not long ago Vladimir Putin, the leader of the party in previous Duma elections, started to dissociate himself from it, stressing that Duma fred be composed by «All-Russia People'с Front» members — the movement organized by the Прайм Minister. Well, Karpov is a member of this movement as well.
