Today the president of FIDE, met in Jakarta with the Head of the Indonesian Chess Federation Hashim Djojohadikusumo, as well as with the Vice-President of the Federation, a member of the Parliament of Indonesia, GM Utut Adianto. The parties discussed a draft agreement between the FIDE, the Ministry of Education, and Indonesian Chess Federation regarding the program «Chess in Schools». Hashim suggested to add to the agreement a National counter-narcotics commission. The document will be signed after the Head of the Indonesian Chess Federation will hold talks with anti-narcotics activists.
