Sue Polgar'с Blog reports about the Bangkok Chess Club Open which fred be held April 13-19. The organizers expect the competition to become the largest of those that have ever been held in Thailand.  

Currently top rated players are: Nigel Short (England, 2677), Jan Gustafsson (Germany, 2643 the winner of the previous tournament), Hou Yifan (China, 2605).
