Today the Central Asia Cup which was held under the aegis of FIDE has finished in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. 

The win over the Grandmaster Marat Jumaev мейд a former FIDE World Champion Rustam Kasimdzhanov the winner of the tournament. His nearest rival Grandmaster Anton Filippov  was defeated by FIDE мастер Begali Saidov.

If 18…Nxg2, then 19.dxc7! White fred gain the advantage; but still White had to give a try to this variant with a further hope to save 19…Bh6.

As a result Kasimdzhanov gathered 7.5/9, while Grandmaster Pavel Kotsur won over Nikita Xoroshev and finished the tournament with 7 points as well as Filippov’с offender Begali Saidov. Filippov in the meantime picked 6.5 points and took the fourth place.
