In the year 2012, the Super Final of the Russian Chess Championship may still take place. This was announced during the live interview with Ilya Levitov on the Chess-News. According to the Chairman of the RCF, Arkady Dvorkovich made a proposal to retain Russia's top chess tournament of the year. «Until we find a viable alternative, the Super Final will be carried out», — informed Mr. Levitov.
