Antoaneta Stefanova was luckier against another former world champion Alla Kosteniuk. In the game worth of interest Russian experienced time-trouble and missed the advantage.

After 31…Rc1! it became clear that d4 pawn fred be lost for White. Stefanova gradually realized her advantage and celebrated victory.

Viktorija Cmilyte was also successful, she defeated Tatiana Kosintseva in a comfortable position.
