The game of Japanese-born American Hikaru Nakamura with the Armenian Grandmaster Levon Aronian was the last to end in the 8^th round of the Bilbao Masters Final.

After the game opponents agreed that Aronian мейд a mistake by choosing a tight endgame. As the computer evaluated later on Levon didn’t have chances to draw in the endgame mostly because of the chronic weakness of f5-pawn.

(After White'с 31^st move ). Nakamura developed long-term pressure and gradually gained a decisive advantage to romp хоум at 79^th move.

At the press-conference the players were asked about the projects of adoption of compulsory chess lessons at schools. Aronian thinks that only тайм can show pros and cons of the experiment, Nakamura mentioned that nowadays chess is present in a lot of American schools but making it as an obligatory subject is far from reality.

Two rounds before the end of the Masters Final Vassily Ivanchuk is leading with 14 points (“Bilbao систем” gives three points to each win and one for a draw). Nakamura and Carlsen have 11 points each. Tomorrow is the last day off for the participants.
